Who is Mogi?


My real name is Malin Richardson, I’m 22 years old, living in Stockholm with my boyfriend Andreas. I grew up in Italy, Belgium, France and the US due to my father’s work. I started my blog when I was 17, the nickname Mogi comes from my big sister Jenny, she called me Mogi when I was younger so when I thought about what to name the blog Mogi came straight to mind! The blog grew in a tremendous speed and my media breakthrough came during the summer of 2009, my blog was one of the most well-publicised blogs during 2009. A great honor!

I have always had a big passion to inspire people and make people laugh! I started doing videoblogs that I posted on my blog and rapidly they became a huge success, having over 500 000 views on youtube. During the autumn of 2009 VeckoRevyn’s Blog Awards took place in Stockholm, VeckoRevyn being one of Sweden’s biggest magazines for girls. I won the title “Videoblogger of the year” which was absolutely fantastic, to get that kind of feedback from my readers was extremely heart warming!

Where am I today?


 

Today I have been blogging for over 5 years, I’m an entrepreneur, jewellry designer and most of all, a life lover! My plans for the future is to design more as that is my true passion, next in line is to create a mini collection of ballerinas as ballerinas are my absolute favourite kind of shoe, you can never have too many! What keeps me going after 5 years is my passion to put a smile on my reader’s face, give them inspiration regarding everything in life, everything from my great passion for fashion, food, interior design, travelling the world, everything that comes to mind! I want to share it with you! I hope you come along for the ride!
